A Call to Action for all Americans
Alert! A crisis is occurring in our country! The situation is critical! The Obama Administration and the Democratic Party are radically changing our government and moving toward Socialism/Fascism! The Republican members of Congress appear to be doing little to stop them. The Judicial Branch of the Federal government has chosen not to oppose these changes. Corruption is on the rise. Chicago style politics is going nationwide.
Contact your elected officials today and demand : Investigate and stop corruption now. Pass no more legislation - none - until the corruption is stopped. Tell them if they are not actively fighting the problem then they are part of the problem and you will vote accordingly.
Stay in contact with your elected officials now, often and strongly. Tell them what you think. And then vote them out of office, if they do not perform. Not words, but what they do or don't do. For example, anyone who voted for the stimulus package should be voted out of office. Any elected official, who voted to spend a trillion dollars without reading the bill, is incompetent. A politically perfect storm has placed in power individuals that are purposefully destroying the economic, business, and social fabric of the United States. These individuals appear to have no checks or balances upon their actions. They are trying to replacing our America with a new Socialist State. Their activities, some of which are blatantly illegal, to undermine and circumvent the Constitution of the United States may well rise to the level of treason. Should every member of the AARP resign and demanded their dues back?
The American Association of retired persons is endorsing the Obama rework of the entire health-care system.
Think of that, the federal government taking control of 1/6 of our total GNP. That's socialism with a capital S.
And just think the government would bring the compassion of the IRS; the efficiency of the Postal System and the cost effectiveness " of an federal program you can think of".
Part of that rework is to cut $500 billion from Medicare and Medicaid. This will drastically and negatively affect the medical care provided to older Americans.
Why would AARP be supportive of a program that damages their membership? Could it be that the progressive liberals that have taken over AARP now have a different agenda. Maybe AARP no longer represents the interest of retired people, but instead shares Obama's goal of replacing capitalism with socialism, and therefore; a nationalized health care system.
Rumors of a dark of the night, back office deal between the Obama administration and AARP seem to indicate a sellout of the members by AARP management.
There are other associations, available to older Americans, and they are the National Association of Senior Citizens, the United Seniors Association, and the Christian Association of Prime Timers. .

He Does Lie -- Actually More Often Than Not
The most honest statement from President Obama's address to a joint session of Congress came from Representative Joe Wilson from South Carolina.
As the President pontificated about the confusion of issues involved in the healthcare debate , Representative Wilson supplied the one-liner that most clarifies all the healthcare issues " You Lie".
In the health-care bill, illegal aliens are omitted from receiving service; however, the health-care bill does not .... does not allow providers of service to verify the citizenship of patients other than to simply ask and receive a yes or no answer. The bill prohibits verification of citizenship, therefore; all an illegal alien has to do is lie and say yes, I am a citizen. Democrats specifically rejected amendments to the bill that would allow citizenship verification. Both the President and Congress know full well that people who cross our national border illegally have no problem lying about being a citizens. Obama was saying that illegal aliens would not be served under the new healthcare system. Representative Wilson said from the audience quote "He lies". For the first time in many, many years the truth rang out from Washington, DC.

Postscript 9/15/09: After the challenge, "where Joe called out the President" .....during the week-end the Democrats quietly changed the bill so there can be citizenship verification. Two thoughts ........ the verification clause probably will be taken out later, in an underhanded, dark of the night manner and .................... President Obama lies.
