Hillary's Paradox - Fowl.. er Foul Play |
Tomorrow's Headlines Today
Ah,yes.
The media and the players in the media. Let's have our forward looking
Big City Times take it to the next level with the slogan "All the news
we can slant to print". The players work the media and the media works
the players....... and the country gets the "news". First amendment,
you know.
Exclusive to the Big City Times
In what she hopes is a stunning knockout punch to land her the Democratic nomination for President, Hillary Clinton has found her voice ... and her ethnicity. She has begun appearing at campaign stops in Pennsylvania wearing blackface.
She strides purposefully on stage and crows "Foul, Fowl". She is announcing to stunned crowds, that in what was an amazing oversight, she has only now determined that she is a black woman. She then lets loose with that raucous laugh, now known as the Hillary cackle.
Hillary then bares her soul by pointing out the unfairness of the contest. "I have planned to be President of the United States since I was in the cradle. I've had to put up with Bill ...to use the advantage of being a past president spouse. But mostly, I counted on the advantage of being a protected female -- -- -- free from scrutiny as a protected class member. It has been totally unfair that my opponent is black. Blacks have more protection under the law than females. It is just plain wrong."
She points out that even with insincere apologies to the black community, she thought the race would be lost. But in an amazing turn of events. She has now discovered that she is a black women.
"But actually it was Bill," she says," who inadvertently discovered this amazing fact. You see, campaign or not, it was time for our annual husband/wife thingy. Afterward and upon reflection, Bill told me I reminded him of a black women he once knew .......or at least had knowledge of. We went back to the records, and there it was. All the tests have been done. It is confirmed. It is a fact. I am a black woman, and now I have more protection than anyone in the race. So now everyone can vote for me, because I am one of all of you. I am mostly white for you bigots. I love Mexican food. I am also a black person .... by the way, who is married to the first black president."
The Barak Obama camp, reeling from a succession of vicious body blows of late, put out a brief statement. "I wasn't at any of the sermons, where Reverend Wright said bad things about the Country, Whites and Jews. The land deal was a lapse of judgment. My wife really is proud of the United States. Hope. Change."

Affirmative Action Impacts Presidential Race |
Ruminations
1 : Masticating again what has previously been chewed slightly and then
swallowed ; chew the cud 2 : engaging in contemplations ; reflections
........... Yeah, it's the same thing!
There is a party in the Democratic Afterlife, wherever that happens to be, led by Lyndon Johnson and his cohorts. Politicians from the 50s, old dead white men, who put forth affirmative action as the key to social change and betterment for the United States. Affirmative Action has now impacted this country at the very highest level. The choice of who will lead the most powerful nation on earth is under the influence of Affirmative Action. And with poetic justice, it is affecting the Democratic party.
Affirmative Action is a concept under the umbrella of EEOC. Affirmative Action dictates that a proportional number of protected minorities are to be placed in positions of employment as determined by the general population. They are to receive comparable pay regardless of qualifications. The proportional number is to be equivalent to the percentage of the protected class in the general population. If a protected class makes up 30% of the population, then you are required to hire out of that group to fill 30% of all the butchers and bakers and candlestick makers. 30% of all the doctors and lawyers and Indian chiefs.... Uh, scratch that about Indian chiefs..... You see, they are protected..... Well, never mind. Another twist another time......
EEOC and AA laws were intended to insure everyone was treated equally. This is a very fine and noble concept. Idealistically, it is what everyone should want. This idea, like most liberal concepts, was to create a perfect situation where everyone was treated the same and equal.
Therein, lies the rub, perfection is not achievable in the real world. A point liberals continually miss in their idealistic view.
To achieve this in a practical, real world manner required government social engineering of the highest magnitude. To "get there" it was necessary, to not level the playing field, but slant it to the benefit of certain defined classes of people who needed help up the socioeconomic ladder.
It was a brilliant political strategy for the Democratic Party in the 50s and 60s. EEOC and Affirmative Action laws were presented as being the leveling of the playing field in the United States that would produce social and economic equality to all.
But the strongest incentive to the rich old white men were to keep their personal political positions of power. The full force of the Democratic political machine was fully engaged with the realization that providing special treatments and entitlements to selected groups of citizens would ensure continuing votes for the Democrats. Simply, divide and conquer. The Democrats could retain and build power. And so they did .... cluck, cluck ... for the next 50 years.
And in politics; if a little bit is good, a lot is better. The identified groups began to grow. Race, color, religion, sex. national origin, disability, age. Every one became part of a defined minority group and became protected from any type of different treatment. Even now we are starting to subgroup. The exception being white Anglo-Saxon Protestant males under 40 years of the age. Who are also a minority, just not protected. Oh, and over 40 is protected ....... there just isn't much of a penalty if you go after the old ones.So everybody, almost, is protected and can't be touched so to speak........as so on with the election.
As Reverend Jeremiah Wright of Chicago's Trinity United Church of Christ has proclaimed, "the chickens have come home to roost". But don't say anything ..he's protected .. and so is Obama .... and so is Clinton ...and so is McCain (sorta .... just no penalty).

Choices ... Democrats Have Choices |
Common Sense
Common
sense is becoming less and less common- -collectively, that is. Based
upon rational thought processes, common sense is the antithesis of
today's political correctness
The
intelligent approach when dealing with and evaluating people;
especially politicians, is to not only listen to what they say. But
more importantly, to evaluate what they do and with whom they
associate. The Clintons fail this test. If the media does not cover for
them, the Obamas will fail far worse than the Clintons. This election
may well be determined in the end by ethics, social values and common
sense.
The
Clintons. One would think that the last thing the United States needs
is for the Clintons to have any more White House time. As we saw
before and see every day, the Clintons are about power and greed. Any
concept of ethics is alien to them. They and their machine are focused
on achieving the White House again. Hillary and Bill are about Hillary
and Bill. That's it, end of story. But the alternative is the Obamas
What do we have in the Obamas? Unfortunately, there are many exaggerations and untruths floating around in the public discourse.
Barack Obama is not a terrorist, or even a disgruntled Muslim, for that
matter. No, he's not the Antichrist either. He professes to be a
Christian and attends a church in Chicago. Conversely, he's not the
second coming of Christ or the reincarnation of John Kennedy.
So who is Barack Obama and who are the Obamas?
Barack Obama
is a consummate politician. He leans to the far left. He has limited
experience, having been a state senator for only eight years and now, in his
first term as junior Senator from Illinois. His campaign is
characterized best as one of glittering generalities about hope and
change. His voting record on the issues at the state and federal level
is spotty, because he missed votes and only voted "present" quite often.
On the votes he has made he is fairly placed to the left of Senator Ted
Kennedy. Barack Obama is rated as the most liberal senator in
Washington. Okay, but that's just politics, and his opinion and ideas. Everyone is entitled ( pun intended).
But there are some, not so subtle signals, that severe consequences may result from putting the Obamas in the White House.

Let's say I break into your house |
Nothing but Net
In the Net.....Thru the Net ........Nothing but Net.......Sometimes the real folks in the world passing thoughts to each other show the most insight and smarts... not to mention grins........
Recently large demonstrations have taken place across the country protesting the fact that Congress is finally addressing the issue of illegal immigration.

Certain people are angry that the US might protect its own borders, might make it harder to sneak into this country and, once here, to stay indefinitely.
Let me see if I correctly understand
the thinking behind these protests..........
